What to Drink with Your Burger?

It’s summertime and the living is easy. A big juicy burger can take a big wine, so don’t be shy. But remember it’s summer; you’re cooking and eating outside, maybe drinking from a plastic cup, so you don’t need to get too fancy! On a hot night, nothing is better than a cold beer. With all the great microbreweries in New England, there are lots of local options. “A nice beefy wine like a full-bodied Cabernet goes well with a burger, especially cheeseburgers. A hoppy ale is also a good choice—I like a Tuckerman’s pale ale with my burger,” says Brian Shea of The Barley House.
