Brit JohnsonBrit Johnson

Publisher

Brit Johnson has been a hands on radio broadcaster in medium sized markets in Massachusetts and New Hampshire for almost 30 years. His experience includes sales, sales management, general manager and owner. He is currently a co-owner of an internet promotional company that works with over 40 radio stations around the country. As a Concord area resident for 25 years Brit has been very involved in helping to strengthen and maintain the vitality of Downtown Concord. Among his credits include two former terms as President of Downtown Concord Inc. and is an active member of the Board of Directors for Main Street Concord Inc. as well as serving on a number of committees over the last 20 years. For 19 years Brit has volunteered as the Promotions Chair for many Downtown Concord retail events such as Market Days, Midnight Merriment, Halloween Howl and more. He has also been involved in fundraising efforts for the Make A Wish Foundation and the Concord Boys and Girls Club. After leaving the day to day radio business Brit explored the idea of creating a magazine tailored to the Concord area combining beautiful photography, the arts, culture and thoughtful stories about or relating to the market and those that live in it. It needed to also provide advertisers with a direct path to consumers that control the discretionary dollars spent in the area. Brit joined forces with former broadcaster and now publisher, Bob Frisch, to form Aftermath Publishing, LLC, delivering the first issue of Around Concord Magazine in November of 2007.  The favorable response to Around Concord has been overwhelming with the magazine doubling in size within two issues with expectations of continued growth. Aftermath Publishing is also a proud member of the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce.
